When I tell people that Jo is not "broke to ride" they seem to automatically think that he is "wild" or something. So, I've included the 3 pictures below to show you just what a SWEET, GENTLE guy he is!! These pictures were taken in the pasture, with 11 mares all walking FREE around him. As you can see, Jo has NO "tack" of any sort on him. Jo and some of the mares were laying down when I walked out there, so I just walked over and sat on Jo. The mares got up and came to see what was going on, but Jo, (ever the gentleman!) stayed laying down until I was up and out of the way, then he got up and followed me around the pasture.
